During my Fine Arts degree at Norwich University of the Arts, I focussed my practice on documenting the two abandoned gasholder sites in Norwich. From communicating with National Grid, I was able to gain access to the sites and witness first-hand the abandonment and ruination. My work incorporated corroded steel and concrete and all its possibilities through an exploration of the materials. Reinventing the tactile surfaces by playing with sculptural abstract forms.
